Social justice
Orléans is a rich, multicultural community. However, the pandemic has clearly shown us that there are still systemic barriers. People who identify as members of marginalized groups have been disproportionately affected by the pandemic.
We support initiatives that address inequities, such as:

access to affordable child care services;
-
a guaranteed basic income;
-
support programs for Indigenous, Black and racialized entrepreneurs; and
-
pay equity for professions predominantly carried out by women.
